
E-mail Setup
- Eudora 5.1
From the Tools menu, select Options.
Select the Incoming Mail category.
Ensure that the Leave mail on server box is unchecked.
Click OK to save.
Eudora 5.1 Configuration
1. Open Eudora.
2. From the Tools menu, select Options.

3. Under Category, click on Getting Started.

4. In the Real Name text box, type your name.
5. In the Return Address text box, type your e-mail address.
6. In the Mail Server text box, type mail.yourdomainname.com
or the IP of your domain.
7. In the Login Name text box, type your Username.
8. In the SMTP Mail text box, type mail.yourdomainname.com
or the IP of your domain.
9. Check the box next to Allow authentication.
10. Under Category, click on Checking Mail.
11. In the Mail Server text box, type mail.yourdomainname.com
or the IP of your domain.
12. In the Login Name text box, type your Username.
13. If you would like Eudora to save your password so it will
not prompt you for it each time you check your mail, check the box next
to Save password.
14. Under Category, click on Incoming Mail.

15. Next to Server Configuration, check the circle next
to POP.
16. Under Authentication Style, check the circle next
to Passwords.
17. Under Category, click on Sending Mail.

18. In the Return Address text box, type your full e-mail
address.
For example: john@earthbiz.net
19.Enter domain to add to unqualified addresses: earthbiz.net
20. In the SMTP Server text box, type mail.yourdomainname.com
or the IP of your domain.
21. Check the box next to Allow authentication.
Click OK.
Eudora 5.0 is now configured to check your accounts e-mail. To check
your mail, select Check Mail from the File menu.
